Hunter's Horizon

Silence.

It was strange, how something so abstract could be taken so differently in two places.
Here, it was something to love, something to cherish and savour.
Back on the battlefield, where you played by nobody's rules, when the rattling of firearms and cries of the helpless were hushed, you knew that something terrible had taken place.

Her faithful Sniper Rifle was in it's sling over her shoulders, and though deer and vole scurried in a fret through the maze of jungle vines, she didn't feel the need to use it.

Instead, Ty simply sat there, watching as the sun rose against the Horizon, painting the sky orange.
It felt different to watch the Sunrise- different to watch it as the Hunter she'd been turned into.

Tear wondered through the vines and felt a kind yet disturbing preasence [must be the guns that's disturbing!] "Um...is anyone there?" [Tear is blind just to point out so she might act blind but she could see aura's] She slowly crept over to the person seemed to be a woman on the grass gazing into the sky.
She saw that she was no threat so the decided to sit with her.
Tear layed her sword down and said "Isn't the sky peaceful this evening the wonderful orange mist covering the darkness of the sky, The sun waving goobye untill we meet again... Sorry I must be like some strainger talking to someone I don't know! I'm called Tear a daner and fencer and fighter!"

Ty whirled around the moment she heard the grass behind her rustling- but quickly relaxed as the girl made her presence known. It was a habit forced upon her, like most others, by the War, reacting with insane reflexes.

"Hey there, I'm Ty," She smiled, gently taking the girl's hand and shaking it.
"Fighter, huh? Me too." She laughed dryly, looking around for any indication of the girl's fighting style.
All she saw was a sharp blade- a sword laying in the grass.

"You fight with a sword?" She asked, quite curiously, eying the glossy blade. It was rare to see a sword nowadays, too bad. They were elegant, efficient weapons.

"Well yea! My clothes are pretty Fantasy like too not just using a sword ha! Do you wanna see some moves?"
She gotten out a dummy made of potato sacks for well.. a dummy!

"Well this one is called Heavens arch [sits on them like as if they are a pony and slams them down] nex this one is called 'heaven to hell' [she jumps on their shoulders twists their neck and does a flip slaming them onto the ground.] The last one is called 'around knock' [when she does an handstand on the enemies shoulders and does other stunts on them soon knoking them to the ground] These are all different types of throws of mine I still have more but These are particulalr my faves!"

Ty watched, quietly studying the girl's technique. It was pretty brutal, and in any normal situation, would win her a fight in a matter of seconds.
All she wondered was, in the chaotic Warzones, where if you stood in one place for more than a second, would she live to use them?
Shaking the thoughts out of her head, she tried to eject her Army life from her mind.

"Impressive." She said, nodding as Tear settled back down. Perhaps, maybe, the two could learn from each other. Couldn't hurt to have a little Melee combat under her belt.

"I'm no Martial Artist, but I'm certainly a hunter." She explained, gently pulling her large Sniper Rifle from it's sling, careful not to look threatening.
"And this here's my baby," She added proudly, quickly looking through the scope, it's blue zoom like home to her eyes.

"Wow that does look like one powerful Rifle! I could never carry a gun thats why If I had to fight anything I'd use my sword and martial arts techniques! IO don't mean for them to look brutal I have some more gentler ones like basic kicks This one is called 'Seraphim heel' when I just kick the enemies foot baisicly! Anyway I just want to admit that I'm blind even though I can fight well I was born blind but I could see auras Of all living things. And the only person I could see is me in my dreams So I know what I look like straingly... Sorry to change the subject!
So your a hunter! What animals do you hunt then? Im a vegetarian so I don't nhunt I just kinda defeat the bad guys sort of thing. But If hunting is your thing go for it I suppose! Anyway back to my question What animals do you hunt with that rifle then?..."
She sat down looking at the gun them back at Ty.

Ty nodded, briefly trying to imagine what it must be like to see the world through Tear's eyes, swirling colours in the dark. The closest thing she'd ever experienced to that would be, well, Night Vision goggles, but that wouldn't be anywhere near it anyway.
It was hard to decide whether it was a disability or advantage- seeing people's auras.

"I try not to hunt animals..." She began quietly, "I hunt, well..."
Ty paused, frowning. She didn't like to say it. She didn't want to.
"I hunt mankind."
The words were eerily cold on her tongue, and mind.
The cold Rifle in her hands had slayed many, many people before.
"Army." She explained, nodding, even though she knew Tear couldn't see it.
