Opposites attract.

Seraphim decided to wonder through riddles edge until she noticed a person she recognised "Hello there?!" Wait could that be--wait yes it is! "R-Rose?" she walked towards Rose and put her hand gentaly on her shoulder "Rose is that you?" Seraphim smiled that silly laugh like smile. :D "Long time no see.."

[OMG! I had a brain wave! How about when Rose was little, she had a pure heart and was allowed into Tranquil Land, but when her family died, so did the pureness and she moved away to hunt monsters! That way she knew Seraphim and hasn't seen her since her family's death!?]

The wind blew over Riddle's Edge, delicately lifting Rose's hair and tangling it. Her cold eyes scanned the pathway winding down the high place, looking for someone to manipulate.
Standing in such a place gave Rose the best view in the Kingdom-aside from the famed Tranquil Land.
"Tranquil...Land..."
Her voice was carried into the wind, taking happy memories along with it. That was no longer who Rose was. The beautiful, pure petals that used to be her were gone, replaced by the harmful, sharp thorns. That was who she was now. Her heart, once open and welcoming to all creatures, had become warped with grief and anger.

It's the monster's fault.

However warped she'd become, it didn't stop that person reaching out to her.
She would leave if Rose ignored her; she knew her well enough to know that-after all, Seraphim was the guardian and Rose's old friend.
But not this Rose.

"Seraphim," she drawled, not turning around. "Unless you wish to be stung, go away."

[that's a gr8 idea! They could of been best friends once!]
"You've changed... Being stung would not stop me from talking to you..." She picked a black rose from the ground and put it in Rose's hair " *Sigh* Why have you become this?... Would your family liked you being like this they are watching you from up there..." She smiled softly at rose. "What's wrong? You used to be so happy and pure.What does that word mean to you?" Seraphim gazed at Rose and stood infrount of her.

The question on her family surprised Rose a little bit. It had been a while since someone had asked her that.
"Mama...Papa...nee-chan...Ritso..."
Again, her voice carried into the wind, this time taking a sudden warmth and grief and...love that had flashed within the depths of her purple eyes. All these things...taken away. Only to be replaced with coldness, emptiness, hatred.
Seraphim was smiling. Something Rose hadn't done since then.
With another feeling of surprise, she realised how she and Seraphim wre the exact opposite. Seraphim and Rose spoke in the same way-cleverly, wisely-but each word was different. Seraphim spoke of love, Rose of hate and sadness.
She turned her head away, the wind blowing her dark hair over her face. She used this brief distraction to show a look of hurt, before quickly dissolving back into the hard mask she wore.
"Purity. It is something that all start out with," she commented in a bored and harsh voice. "And something that can be taken away by those with...abilities."

"If thats your way of looking at it. Thats right.. I think purity is 'good' not evil similar to what you said but purity can't be fully taken away there is always a little at least of purity in someones heart..." She saw tears welling up in Rose's eyes Seraphim given her a hug. "What do you think is the right thing to do? What do you think is right? Your the main character of your life... You don't want your life to be full of saddness do you?" She closed her eyes and looked at Rose "Why don'y you come to the Tranquil church later? Where you can talk to your family..."

She held herself stiffly as Seraphim hugged her. Rose was ignoring any emotion. It was foolish.
"Shut...UP!" She yelled suddenly, tears falling heavier now. "You don't understand it! Stop pretending you do, because you don't! You don't know how it feels!"
Rose finally shut up herself, wriggling in Seraphim's arms, before adding "I'm not your best friend anymore. She's dead."

" What? What do you mean she's dead?.." Tears welled up in Seraphim's eyes "I'm right here as plain as day. I do kow what saddness is like too I spent my life on my own separated from you. My mother dieing... I'm sorry I have no right to say what I'm saying... But what do you mean She's dead?"
She stepped away from her and put her hand to hert mouth.

The wind blew harder again. It seemed to be reflecting Rose's mood. Slightly calm, then wild.
And right now, it was wild.
She felt like smiling though. Because Rose had, without realising, managed to start to make Seraphim doubt herself and the ties she had with others.
"You never were good at listening to what I say, were you? I always had to explain things to you, over and over..." She pointed out nastily. A flash of inspiration. "How can you be a guardian if you can't listen to what people say?" She let the words hang in the air for a moment. "I meant that the girl you used to know--the me you used to know--is dead. Guardian."

"I knew that I was just testing you out! Humph. Im sorry Im just a rash person to panicy and jump ahead of things.... Hay! Are you using your powers of Put downs on me?! Anyways, No matter if your dead or alive you are still you! And never forget that! The focus for you is to stop putting down people unless if you need to and my focus is to not jump to conclusions and wait and listen a bit more... I never knew I never listened you should of toled me! Oh I have something to tell you every 4 I power up and this me is a more rash and quick jumping to conclusions me but next power up is my final one I think and I always
change looks too so you beta recognise me! Ok!" She saw that Rose was still sad so her arm gotten a mind of it's own and punched her lights out to make Rose laugh *POW* "Ouch, Oh no you do--" *SMACK* [Like Mermaid man and barnicle boy from spongebob!]
Seraphim lied on the floor "Ow! Why does this me have to be so...Ah..."

"So you know...what I do to people," she answered slowly, turning around. "Don't try it with the senseless 'humor'. It isn't funny, guardian. You should stick to your job. Or are you here 'cause someone else is doing it?" She laughed coldly. "Seraphim, we're two different people. We are headed in different directions. I am your enemy." She stopped, then turned around again. "What I'm saying, is I'm the opposite to you. So whenever there's someone here, I'll be here. When you cheer then on, I will be hoping for their down-fall."

"I'm sorry...Im no good with comedy... I hope my next power up tomoz will be better... But don't worry I still keep my memories of cause! Anyway the animals of Tranquiland protect the place when Im gone so it's ok! Anyway, No matter what weather you don't wanna be my friends or if your my enemy I will still be your friend! You get that?"
She stood up and folded her arms. "At least come to the ceremony tomoz for the Power up day! Please!"

Rose rolled her eyes. "That will be your down-fall. But humor me. I'll come tommorow. I'm sure it'll be...interesting."

"Thank you Rose! Your the best! I'll see you in Tranquil Meadows!

"Idiot!" Rose snapped, curling her hands into fists. "I can't get into Tranquil Land!"

".............." Seraphim was silent........ She goten out a piece of paper and wrote 'I'm giving you a invitation to one of the most important days to me... You get a free pass to Tranquil island. and it you cant go in there cos your 'evil' and it's a pure place then just say so'

The cold mask suddenly slipped off.
I...hurt...her? Rose thought, feeling sad and upset. Her cold eyes widened and shone briefly. She took at step back, placing a hand over her mouth.
W-w-why did I do that? She was my best friend! I can't believe I even di- She cut her own thoughts off. The cold mask came back.
"Guardian." Rose addressed her as such. "It's too late for me. Don't drag yourself down by doing such things. I'm not pure enough to get into Tranquil Land."

Seraphim put away her book and said "What you just though was pure and good. You don't need to be 'pure' to go there you just need to have a decent heart and you do don't deny it!" She stepped forward " Your you. And nothing could change that but you. If you wanna be good go for it but if you wanna go bad I'm supporting and protecting you no matter what!
You used to be my best friend let that go They are in heaven. Guiding you like I am You guiding yourself too. Get that cold mask away from your face and show your true feelings LET IT OUT GIRL!"

[She's gonna walk away now.]

"No!" Rose yelled and walked away, angry.

Oh... Well that was... Unexpected.....ummm
I guess I'll just sit down here and Hang out....
She sat on th edge and thought it through of what was going on.
