Bio:Manon always had a fondness for the sea- her Father was in the British Navy, and as an infant, she often heard her Father's conversations with her Brother.
"If you want to be a Seaman, you should start at Twelve."That one phrase influenced her whole life: Though she knew the Navy wouldn't take her, though. But they were so
boring! And with such a low pay!
Through her whole life, she watched her Father teach her brother the crucial Navy things; how to swim, how to tie knots, et cetera. She slowly taught herself how to swim, watching her sibling keenly.
When she turned twelve, she took all that mattered and snuck on board a ship. She was rejected, and thrown into the sea, much to her dismay. She swam after the ship for as long as she could before she grew tired, but, was lifted aboard on condition of being a lowly Midshipman.
Manon was slowly taught the ways of a Sailor, and over the years, she slowly climbed the ladder of ranks. At the age of 18, three days prior to a test to see if she was worthy of Lieutenant, the ship was set alight by the Navy, and she was carried home; she told them she was only there as a 'hostage' to prevent suspicion.
Extra info:Manon made all sorts of strange oaths while at sea. Because of one little bet, she's sworn never to lie on Tuesdays.
