[In the first episode, it tells you what this means in english. I can't actually remember right now, although I think it's something like 'Let me reach out.']
Genres: Romance, School Life, Shoujo
Kuronuma Sawako is a high school girl with a wish--to make friends. Doesn't sound so hard to you and me, right?
Sadly, due to what appears to be a lack of people skills to us viewers, and a creepy aura to her clasmates in the anime, the task of gaining friends is practicly impossible. Indeed, around the entire school, her nickname is 'Sadako', the girl out of the Japanese horror movie,
The Ring.
Walking to school one day, Sawako notices her fellow classmate, Kazehaya, who is the polar opposite to her--friendly, out-going and popular. She secretly looks up to him because of this.
When talking to one of her old friends from Middle School, Kazehaya is mentioned [I can't remember what he did exactly, all I remember is that he was nice to Sawako], and Sawako goes on and one about how pleasent he is, only for him to over-hear every single word.
Sawako is completely mortified, although Kazehaya is flattered that she thinks that way.
Even though their class-mates feel that the two should not be friends, they click.
The anime follows the duo's course of friendship, and, because this is a romantic anime, you can guess the second one.
Here's the summary from animeseason:

- Kuronuma Sawako’s one wish in life is to make friends. That’s a difficult proposition when everyone who meets this high school student cowers in terror! She just wants to be like her classmate Kazehaya-kun, a laid-back, easygoing guy.
I recommend it. It's very sweet!
