Yeah, people know what to do and what not to do when rping, but there may be more things than people thought. So, here I am, with another wonderful sticky, just going over the rules of rping.
.You cannot rp unless your character is accepted.
.Stay on topic! [If you have to talk, put it in brackets, please.]
.Use the correct puncuation, and, if possible spelling. This is basic stuff like speech marks when people talk, etc.
.Try not to use smilies in your posts.
.Stay in character. Everyone's starving--what can we do? No prob! Your character will whip up a tasty feast...even though cooking isn't one of your character's pros. Unless it's stated in your character's profile, it's a skill they need to aquire, not magically be able to do.
.Don't use one line speech for a post. All you have to is write '"Hi! How are you?" Bob [or whatever] said.'
.Please, please, PLEASE don't god mod. [God-modding is when you take control of another person's actions.] Even if you say something like 'Bob walked over to Sally. Sally jumped.'--if Sally isn't that person's character, they cannot control what she does.

.Don't rp with yourself. [Unless a staff member gives you permission. Which won't happen often.] There isn't really a point. And it's fun to rp with others--the story can turn out different each time!
