looking for adventure

Orchid was sitting in the middle of the meadows. She enjoyed doing this. No-one could stop her from doing so, No-one ever will, she thought happily.... She saw a person come from the distance and wondered who it was.......... She hoped it was someone to go on an adventure with 'cos she was bored stiff. Not because of the scenery or the animals but of her time she had spent the last few hours not moving

[Mind if I join in? Beware, though, girl, Gem is a vampire!]
Gem was wandering through the field, completely aimlessly. She wasn't thirsty-yet-and she wasn't burned by sunlight, so this was an okay place to be.
She noticed a figure sitting here too and immediately regreted coming. It was better if Gem didn't talk to others, apart from those of her kind, in case she became overcome by the scent of blood.
Gem ran at the speed of light to the edge of the field and tried to hide herself from the girl already here.

"Wait!!" Orchid called.Boy that girl is fast! She thought as she desperatly, recklesly ran after the girl in the distance. "Great I've upset her, why does this always happen!!!" Orchid complained loudly. The girl turned around with a curious expression on her face. A measley SLUG creaped past her. Orchid was not afraid of piranas or crocodiles or even spiders but slugs she aboulotley detested. She ran foreward as fast as she could go. She hoped the girl ahead did not see that moment if she had it was the worst 30 seconds of her life...

Gem snapped her head up as someone yelled to her.
"Wait!!"
The voice came from that girl sitting there. She was no longer sitting-it was aparent that she had noticed Gem and was interested...or something simular, of course-and was now running as fast as her human legs could carry her.
Gem bit her lip, spilling no blood-well, if you're dead, blood doesn't run!-but feeling drained of it all the same. "Oh no...another human. Another human I'll let into my life and then..." Gem moaned weakly to herself. She'd made the mistake of attempting to get close to humans-or human like beings-once before, not so long ago. She had hoped it wouldn't happen again, as getting tangled into the deep world of friendship with her kind was dangerous to those she had become closer to. One mistake, and bang...a life was lost.
The girl carried on running towards her, completely oblivious to the fact that Gem was worried. In that instant, she deciced again to be honest, even though last time...
Gem shuddered, and greeted the girl running towards her...the same way she had greeted Danie...the same way she'd made her mistake...
"Hello there, human," Gem called dryly. This time, she added a little more to it. "Before you come closer, hear me out. My name is Gem Jewel. I'm a vampire."

"Ahh.... I'm a s..s...shape- s..s..shifter..."Orchid stuttered, had she finally found someone like her, shunned by some societys always in the background, wanting to be there with others. "W...w...w..ould you like to explore the woods n..n..near by? I cant do it alone cos i'mm scared stiff of s..s...s...slugs" Orchid asked tentativly. She was worried about what the answer would be and what she'd do if Gem suddenly attacked her Gem knew her gratest fear. Slugs. Typical orchis was not scared by the deadliest creature alive but by a small insinificant slug. What was she to do. Then Gem began to speak...

[Okay, how about we wrap up here, then do a friendship event in the forest? I'll make it if you do one more post here ^^]
Gem placed her head on one of her wrists, a pained expression on her face. "Oh no, you're scared stiff. I'm so sorry, if it's any condolense! But I promise I won't hurt you. The only reason I told you what I was was so that you could run if you wanted to. I promise! I also told you so that I could say something else-I've tried not to get close to people. I wanted, again, to give you a fair chance. You can run at any point...and don't worry-no slug will touch you if we become...friends!" Gem grinned up at Orchid, then remembered her 'dazzling' thing. She stopped grinning. "Sorry."

"OKAY!!!!" Orchid squealed as the twosome left to the forest.
