Adventure in the forest!!! [Frienship Event-Orchid, Gem]

Orchid and Gem entered The forest
"If you want to run , I won't mind if you did...." Gem whispered.
"I waited for ages for some one and you're that some one .....SLUG!!! Really need to get over this phobia..."Orchid kind of shouted and whispered. They took a few steps in togeter and a shape came out from the mist ahead....

Gem smiled half-heartidly. She hoped she could be that someone-or that vampire-that found making friends with other kinds safe. And easy.
"Slug? Yes, they are a little scary aren't they? But, if you ever see me in true form, you may just...never mind!" Gem shuddered at the thought. "There's er...there's no reason for me to change anyway!"

Orchid looked puzzled for a moment. Then disregared her past thoughts.
"What is that?"Orchid asked. She had seen so many things in her existance but nothing like it.She was sure Gem hadn't either.....

"What is what?" Gem asked innocently, hoping Orchid wasn't on about what Gem had just dismissed quickly. She couldn't tell her about her...true form-it was too terrifying. Sighing, Gem offered an explaination. "What I meant was...a measly little slug would look like your best friend if you saw me as a true vampire. Although I am onme now, I'm not dangerous. When I get too angry or too thirsty...you'd better think twice about approching me."

"Sorry to interupt you...... What's that it's definatly not a slug or a vampire.....What is it? I've seen many things but nothing quite like this... Believe me." Orchid intrupted. She thought she had seen Gem long ago but put that to the back of her mind......

"How long have you been alive? I kinda...never mind, I think," Gem pondered, stopping for a moment. "So...what do you do in your spare time?" Gem shook her head in disbelief. "Ignore that too. I'm just very bored. I don't normally hang out, I'm normally-" she cut herself off again. "Dang, I can't talk properly to anyone!" She complained, although she was grinning slightly.

Orchid put her head in her hands and tranformed in to a dragon. Suddenly she flew high into the air her heart pumping with adrenaline as she dive-bombed the creature. The shape below her made no attempt to move or dodge, then she reailised that it was a unicorn. Through the mist it wad hard to distinguish between creatures. On descent she landed on a branch and jumped off like a black panther. Orchid put her hand on the magnificent creatures head and told it that they ment no harm - after all it was trying to protect her young who were behind her. Gem stared at her in amazement. It had happened in seconds

Gem realised she was standing there with her mouth open wide. She closed it, smiling now.
"Now that," she congratulated her friend. "That is pure power! That's one of the first times I've ever been so...dazzled myself!" Gem walked over to the dragon as she slowly transformed back into Orchid. "I's show you me, but...I cannot do it unless I'm under...circumstances. Those circumstances are if I'm under threat or in danger, if I'm angry, if I go too long without...I'm sorry to say this...drinking blood...or...if someone I care about is hurt or in a bad place or whatever. The bad thing is...the other me is pretty...tempermental, shall we say, and...yes, I was talking about you!" Gem smirked, placing a hand on her heart. "The vampire stays locked inside me, ready to come out at a given time. I can communicate with her, although most of the time, we argue! It is a little strange. It's also kind of annoying though-even if I get angry, so angry I could burst, I cannot transform for a while after feeding. This means that I can get into some weird situations. Even though me, as a human, can run as fast a possible, I can only run at the fastest possible speed for a human like myself-ie: a human female. And...sometime, I will meet my match. Because..." Gem stopped, looking concerned. "I can feel it. Someone is coming. It isn't just any someone. I think another vampire is coming." [I'm refering to G_G 2nd character-coming soon, I think! XD]

"That's very complecated but I understand..... I think...." Orchid mumbled as the twosome walked on into the forest. I kind of know what she means. There are loads of evil monsters out there and they're part of me aswell. They're my own personal demons but I've learnt to block them out; Orchid thought. Over head some howler monkeys shouted and shrieked their warning calls.She felt like becoming a panther so changed into the magnificent black cat.She looked up to the low hanging bracnes and lept on to one , the an other and an other until she was in the forest canopy. " Sorry !!!" Shouted Orchid to the small gem beneath her. She leapt down, branch by branch, till she was a branch above Gem. "Sorry my animal instincts took over, alert calls and I'm off...." Orchid trailed off into silence...........

Gem smiled. "Although I didn't really do much except for travel, I know things about the wild. And I know that the calls of alert in the wild tend to grab our animal insincts. Unless you're me, and I just have to get angry, of course. I still like your powers. I've honestly never seen anything like it!"
She then grinned. "Besides. I didn't say I couldn't climb trees!" Gem darted over and made her way up. "It's a good job I can't die-I'll proberly fall soon..."

"Wait for me!" Called Orchid playfully.She changed into a panther and climbed up behind Gem.In one big striding jump she easily cuaght up with Gem.A toucan landed on her front shoulder
"Beware the Chimera! Beware the Chimera!" It said. The unicorn had thought something along the same lines and of a great perial.
"What?......" Gem asked cautiously.
"I think your vampire side would be very very very useful now....." Orchid replied with venom in her voice.........

"Don't you get it?! I can-" Too late. Anger. Red eyed Gem.
"Who are you? Why was I called? It'd better be good, missy or I'll..." She didn't finish her threat, jumping down from the tree and landing perfectly. "If it's another cat..."

"Do you even know what a chimera can do???!!! It can only be calmed with the two who are different!"Orchid inturupted. She recalled the prophercy form the time of the Greeks.
The Chimera will come agian. He can only be defeted for good by the goodest of friends. The friends with differences alike. The friends who are outside society.They will only come once and must take thier chances. THE VAMPIRE AND THE SHAPESHIFTER...They should not be divided as nethier can defet it alone...
Orchid let out a long sigh and changed into the dragon and flew to the centre of the forest where there was a collum of smoke starting to rise above the treetops. The main power a chimera was it's scolding fire. She flew nearer, hoping Gem in her true form could follow......

"Fire?" The vampire Gem, following the dragon, suddenly stopped. "I'm a vampire. If it manages to set me on fire and I don't get it put out, I'll die. I have come close to death before, you know. If I die..." Gem hissed. "But...I guess I'd better help. Let's go.."

I hope I'm not to late! Orchid thought franticaly. She flew at top speed leaving Gem tailing behind. She got to the centre of the forest. She landed next to the destressed Chimera. She felt his pain. Alone. Torn in three. Scared. Anger. Survive. She decieded to turn in to what was in front of her.
"It's okay. You can trust me." Orchid softly spoke. The chimera looked up. Feeling what is was like be torn apart by yourself, She nuzzled up close. Knowing what is was like being alone.
"Change child..... another is coming."The chimera spoke in plain english.
"I'll save you. I woun't let you get hurt..."Orchid whispered. It was awfull knowing that part off you was prey. "Let the goat know that you mean no harm And he will calm down." Gem appeared at the clearing. Red eyes glowing like a wild bush fire. In that moment Gem was a truely terriefying creature but not as teriifing knowing that You're that last one of your kind. That is what the chimera is........

Gem smiled a little nd closed her eyes. She changed back right in front of Orchid and the little creatures eyes.
"I don't need to hurt you. I heard your conversation. And concern overides anger. So I changed back because of emotion," she explained, still smiling. "This forest is crazy!"

"Do you know the anger he felt like I do? Knowing that you're the last?Knowing you're alone....." Orchids voice left her. "Did you realise I called him HIM not it. He has feelings like me or you." Then Orchid recited the prophercy. Orchid bust into tears as the Chimera curled around her defensivly. She didn't want him hurt.
"Don't do it if she attacks. Save your self and be free I can handle her every one has a weak point...eh" Orchid spoke soflty so only the Chimera could hear.......

...but sadly, as Gem is a vampire, she could hear every word.
"I...I...I wasn't going to harm either of you. I just told you that concern overides anger..." Gem faced away from the two of them and began walking away. "Orchid? You are not perfect either. You told me to transform because the creature was dangerous. I didn't want to change myself, as one of my weaknesses is a chimera's strong point. So before people start whispering...I didn't ask to transform. I changed back because I saw you together! Because I was concerned for you."

"When I ment danger, I ment to you. Fire is deadly and He was destresed and being torn apart by your self is not nice. I didn't ask you specificaly to change but I try to commit my self to every creature being happy........." Orchid knew she had hurt Gem in some way and knew she would try to make it up to her. They headed out deeper in to the forest wondering what else was to come....
"Orchid........." Gem spoke...................................

Gem felt a little hurt. Nevertheless, she carried on walking with Orchid in the forest.
"Orchid...I am sorry I jumped to a stupid conclusion. I really hope you forgive such a stupid mistake. I know that I have many flaws, but please promise that you won't...hate me."

"What????? Why on earth would I hate YOU??!!!" Orchid said rather bewilderedly."Of course I forgive you. You can't help being you nor I."
Something in the trees over head let out a long spine-chilling caw.The twosome looked at each other and burst out laughing ...........

Gem gasped with laughter. "I'm sure that one day we can have a conversation without something butting in!"
It was funny though. I guess things were always gonna be strange for non-humans though. "Weird. I bet no human could ever truely have this much fun!"

"I guess not becuase we're the unknown! Well there are sirens up there - how shall we deal with them?" Asked Orchid. It was true, there were sirens - monsters that lured anything but vampires to thier deaths with their aluring songs.................

Gem grinned. "I'm your gal! Or should that be vampire...anyway...I feel threatened. I think a dragon and a vmpire should be able to finish them off...Let's...GO!" She yelled, concentrating on transforming.
The vampire Gem, normally very disgurntled, was rather happy by this point. "Ahh...shapeshifter. You've given me a lot to do today. And I'm...relieved. I think. As long as it isn't a cat!"

" How are you with Birds with the head of a woman and very off pitch song that somehow kill people?" Orchid joked. She changed into an earth dragon and flew on wards, Gem directly below.
"Typical..... Where tou find water you find sirens or Kappas." Orchid remarked "Ready?".................
