friendship event! Orchid and Leila!

Orchid came to a stop, this was her favourite place in all the land, She knelt down as Leila slid off and began to speak.....

Leila slid off Orchid's back, smiling under her hood.
A cool breeze drifted through the air, the scent blooming flowers riding the gust. Reaching a hand out to orientate herself, she met what felt to be a vine, suspended in he air.

"Where are we?" She asked, enjoying the fresh scent that wafted throught the darkness. Twiddling her feet, she parted thick soil under her feet.

"Welcome to the jungle of life!"

Leila kneeled down, gently stirring some dirt in her hand. Cold, but moist. Reaching for a flower, she stroked the petal, soft and textured.

"The Jungle of Life, huh?" She nodded.
It felt like Paradise. Feeling a dainty bug crawl onto her hand, she smiled as she caressed it, giving it a gentle nudge as the delicate creature explored her hand.
She couldn't tell whether it was the most beautiful bug in the world, or whether it was ugly as a toad, but it was wonderful as it hugged up against her palm.

Orchid laughed. She felt even happier. "It's called Beautius, Spotticus! As so because their spots are so beautiful. If you remember lady bird, but the black spots are rainbow coloured!"

Leila held the fragile Ladybug close to her chest, feeling it crawl around her hand and make itself comfortable beteen her fingers.
She wished she could see the precious bug. But she didn't need to.
It was beautiful enough to feel in her hands.

"Such a tiny creature..." She said, smiling. The smallest were the best, of course, with many hidden wonders under their skin.
Setting the ladybug back into the soil, she smiled under her hood.

"It's such a beautiful place." Leila murmured, quite mesmerized by the dense forest crawling with wonders.

Orchid helped Leila up on her feet once more. " I want to show you something you may actually be able to see. It''s a full moon tonight.A special thing happens. I can cure some one off something for a day. I want you to have your sight back for that day. The bug likes you. Keep him. I'm charged with loking after animals emotions. It would kill the bug to be away from you, it loves you soooo much!"

Leila paused for a moment.
Did she hear right?
"You can cure my sight?" She asked, almost numbed by the words as they escaped her lips.

She could feel the Ladybird crawling onto her feet, up her legs and around her stomach until it climbed up her neck and onto her cheek.
Smiling, Leila let it stay there, still a little shaken by the sudden fact.

"Yes but only for a day... Do you want? If not I won't force you...."

Leila almost forgot to breathe for a moment.
"Of course! I'd love my sight back!" She laughed, exhilerated.
Even if only temporarily, it'd be amazing.
She'd see where she lived, she'd see what she looked like.
Leila hadn't even seen herself for so many years.

"Can you really do that?" She asked, breathtaken.

"Yes! This is starting to be like cinderella isn't it but with out the prince and step sisters?"
